The Installation Process, Broken Down

1. Site Survey: Prior to placing an order for the Starlink kit, we recommend arranging a site visit to evaluate your location's suitability for installation. During the visit, a trained Starlink installer will assess factors such as potential obstructions, elevation, and clear sky visibility. Additionally, we will examine the need for any supplementary equipment, such as access points, to ensure optimal signal coverage throughout your property.

2. Ordering the Kit: You start by ordering the Starlink kit from the official Starlink website.

  • Check the length of cable you require for the installation, as the kit comes with a standard cable length of 50m.
  • We would recommend ordering the LAN adapter along with the kit. This can be purchased from the Starlink shop once you have set up your Starlink account.

3. Scheduling your installation: Once you have received confirmation of your delivery date, you call us to schedule in a visit from a Wear Communications Starlink installer, at a convenient date/time.

4. Day of Installation: On the day of installation our engineers will install your Starlink equipment including the hardware and configuring the router settings. They will conduct a full test to ensure everything is working correctly.
